One day you notice mold or mildew on your base trim and maybe on your drywall in your bedroom. On the other side of this wall is your tiled shower. Uh oh. You think you may have a shower pan leak.

Shower pan leaks is probably the most costly fix in the bathroom. Keeping this in mind, you may want to make sure it actually is a leak before going through the expense of having yours removed and replaced. You can call a plumber or you can perform the below.

Testing your shower pan:

1. Make sure you are not planning to go anywhere for a while. This test will take you all day long. The last thing you want to do is test your shower pan, leave in the middle of the test and create a huge water damage problem.

2. Gather your supplies! A large bucket, towel, measuring tape and duct tape.

3. Dry your shower floor around the drain with your handy, dandy towel.

4. Cover the drain with duct take about the size of a paper plate. Make sure it is very securely pressed down.

5. This test will require water from another source. The last thing you want to do is use water from the shower and have an actual problem with your shower faucet or cracks in your shower walls. We want to be able isolate the shower pan. Take your bucket and fill it up about 2/3rds full.

6. Gently pour the water into the shower floor until the floor has about a 1 inch depth of water. No more than that! This will ensure you do not have water above the curb of your shower pan under the tile. Measure to ensure you are at this depth.

7. Let’s look for water:

a. For a slab foundation: Look in all of the areas surrounding your shower, including adjacent rooms. You may have to pull your carpet back to see these areas. If you find water, stop the test. Remove the duct tape. You have a shower pan leak. If not, move to step 8.

b. For a crawl space: Add a flashlight to your supply list. Now the worst part. Crawl under your house below your shower and look for water leaking in this area. If you find water, stop the test. Remove the duct tape. You have a shower pan leak. If not, move to step 8.

8. This test will take at least 8 hours. Some leaks take a long time to show them selves. You now have the luxury of checking your water level about every hour. If it lowers, add water to get it back to 1 inch.

9. About every hour, check for leaks again as in step 7. If you see water, stop the test. Remove the duct tape. You have a water leak. If you don’t see a leak from this test, CONGRATULATIONS the problem is NOT your shower pan.

At the end of this test, you may be happy it’s not your shower pan, but wondering what else it could be. Well, it could be your could be your shower seat if you have one (a lot cheaper to replace!). Or it could be where the curb meets the walls. Your shower could have been constructed without pan corners at each end (again a lot cheaper!). How about that not so water proof shower door? Your shower faucet could be leaking behind your wall or behind the faucet handles. Once you have eliminated these as possible causes, you are left with one of the most common leaks, cracks in the corners of your walls. Recaulk these and all shower corners, allow to dry and you will probably not see anymore leaks.

If you suspect you have a leak, we suggest not waiting to run these tests. Water damage leads to mold, wood rot and termites. The sooner you fix the problem, the cheaper it will cost you to fix.

Leaks from a bathtub can be frustrating to diagnose. There are several different possible sources for leaks at tubs and most of them are behind drywall. A leak could be from the valve, the shower head, the tub spout or the drain.

Since each of these possible locations are different, it would be nice to isolate the problem. Before you start cutting drywall there are a few things you can do to try to narrow your choices. Then, even if you do have to cut drywall you will usually have to do less damage.

It Might Not Be A Leak

First, make very sure that the water is not just running down the corner of the tub past the shower curtain while your someone is taking a shower. Take a very close look at the wall and floor corners at both ends of the tub immediately after they are finished. Pay special attention to the end the shower head is on. I have seen many “leaks” that wound up being caused by water running over the edge of the tub. Enough people have this problem that you can but special little dams that stick in the corner on the tub to block the water.

If you are sure this isn’t the problem the next step is to determine whether the leak is from the valve or from the drain.

Water Lines or Drain?

If the leak is constant, even when the tub has not been used, it is a leak on the hot or cold water line. These are under constant pressure and will leak continuously if they are the problem.

If it doesn’t leak all the time, it’s not from the hot or cold connections. If it only leaks after use you can rule these two connections out and start elsewhere..

The Bucket Test

The easiest thing to check first is the drain side. You don’t want to run the faucet because that will screw up this test. Fill a bucket up from another bathroom and use this to fill the tub. I know that’s a pain in the neck but it’s necessary.

Once the tub is full let it sit for 30 minutes or so and see if the leak shows up. If so, it is from the tub drain. Drain the water and fix the drain. It probably just needs to be removed and re puttied. Clear silicone, though harder to clean up, works great instead of putty.

Pull The Plug

If no leak shows up while the tub is full go ahead and drain the tub, again checking for leaks. If you see a leak now the problem is in the drain piping. You will need to cut drywall to find and repair this. You can start at the wet spot, but you may find that the water has run across the top of the drywall and the spot isn’t directly under the leak.

The Water Piping

If no leak shows up from the first test, that leaves the tub spout piping and the shower head riser and connection. The two most likely places to check for a leak are the shower riser and connection and the tub spout piping and connection.

The first thing to do is to pull the escutcheon (trim ring) at the shower head and see if you can see the connection inside the wall. You may have to open the hole a little, just enough so you can see but it will still be covered by the escutcheon. Now run the shower head while looking at the connection with a flashlight.

The Old Toilet Paper Trick

If you can’t see it very good, wrap some toilet paper around the end of a screwdriver and hold it under the connection for a minute. Check and see if the paper is wet. If so, or if you can see a leak, you’ve found the problem. Take the shower head off, stick the handle of your pliers in the end of the bent pipe coming out of the wall and remove the pipe. Put some new teflon tape on the threads, screw it back in and check for leaks.

If you don’t find a leak here check the tub spout. If you have the kind of tub spout with a diverter you have to pull to make the water go to the shower head it could be leaking where it connects to the piping and water could be running back into the wall. This is kind of hard to see but some brands have a small opening on the bottom side of the spout to tighten the spout clamp. You can use the toilet paper trick here too. If there is no opening you can try to unscrew the spout and see if the piping behind it is wet. If none of this works you may need to cut drywall behind the tub to really check it out (if you can get to it).

The Last Resort

If you try all of this and still can’t find the leak the next step is to start cutting drywall. However, if you can find the source of the leak this way you may be able to fix it yourself and save some money. Even if you don’t feel comfortable doing this, you will at least be able to let the plumber know what you’ve done and minimize the cost of the repair.

Faucet leaks can waste more water than you think. Have you ever put a cup or bowl underneath a leaky faucet and actually seen how much water is wasted. Leaky faucets should be repaired as soon as possible to prevent the waste of water in your home. Water is a precious resource and should be used wisely.

One slow drip from the faucet can waste over 5 gallons of water per day. If you think that’s not a big deal, let me put it in perspective for you. 5 gallons of water per day equals 35 gallons per week, times 52 weeks in a year, that equals over 1800 gallons of water, and that’s a lot of water.

The problem with a faucet leak isn’t just the amount of water it waste, it will soon start to deteriorate your sinks, bathtubs and showers and could damage other sections of the home, like the wood framing. I’ve seen a water drip in a steel kitchen sink, in just a few years, wear a hole right through it. Keep in mind water and wind formed the Grand Canyon, water can be extremely erosive.

Faucet leaks can attract house pests, like mice, flies, ants and a wide variety of other insects.

Most faucets can usually be repaired for under $20. Most of the time the problem will be in the valves or handles that turn the water on and on. If you’re not familiar with plumbing parts, you could pick up a do-it-yourself home repair manual or go online and look up the manufacturer of your faucet, for more information.

Usually the manufacturer has a diagram of the faucet, broken down into sections and you could get a pretty good idea, what parts you will need to remove, in order to replace the damaged part or parts that are creating the water leak.

Calling a plumber seems to be most homeowners last resort. They only do it if they absolutely have to. If you don’t understand how a faucet works and have no desire to learn how, I would suggest you call a plumber or contact someone who can help you with your faucet leak, but get the faucet leak fixed and quit wasting water.

Most web surfers are familiar with webcams that plug into a USB port on a personal computer. These webcams require software loaded onto a computer to work. In addition, knowledge of how to properly set up a router is also required. Most webcams have limited uses for video chats and video telephone communication services like Skype. There are few software programs that can convert webcams into an amateur security system. These systems are limited to a few cameras each connected to its own computer or USB cables to a maximum of fifteen foot lengths.

Recent breakthroughs in camera design resulted in a new camera called an IP cam, or network camera. Network cameras do not require a personal computer since each has its own built-in web server. These cameras are classified into two types: Professional and Consumer. The professional network cameras are usually installed by Network Technicians with specialized IT training. Professional IP camera prices start out at about $350 and go to over $6,000 each. Consumer IP cameras can be installed by those who have technical expertise as well as knowledge about routers and networking. It can be very frustrating setting up these cameras because of the many different variables involved in each installation. Most routers are not configured the same way, so knowledge about one router manufacturer will be different than routers manufactured by a different company. Also, as router standards and capabilities change, new and different set up procedures can be challenging to the most technically savvy.

There are three ways to connect network cameras so they can be observed remotely through the internet:
1) Dedicated static public IP address, plus a router that has Network Address Translation.
2) DDNS services. These services monitor the public IP address of the Local Area Network (LAN), so that an incoming remote camera request can connect to the LAN and the appropriate camera.
3) A private server network that can direct remote sites to the correct camera.

Issues:

1) A static IP address should not be tied to a LAN used for confidential data. This means a separate ISP account and a premium charge for the static IP address used by the security camera network. These can be very costly. The camera installer must still have knowledge of Network Address Translation and port forwarding. Network troubleshooting skill and knowledge is a must.

2) DDNS services are available for free and for fee. The free services have limits of use in terms of numbers and types of connection requests. Fee based services produce better results, but still require knowledge of Network Address Translation, port forwarding and DDNS set up procedures. In addition, network troubleshooting knowledge is required. The cost can be free to $35/month.

3) Private server network. These networks consist of a local server outside of the LAN which works as a relay to assure that the remote observer and correct camera are linked together. It is an advantage to have multiple servers located in different locations on their own private secure network. These systems requires installer to have Network Address Translation, port forwarding knowledge and network troubleshooting skills. Most of these systems charge an annual camera fee and video storage fees.

There is a new inexpensive way to get around ALL the problems listed above. A new type camera called a Self-networking camera has built-in firmware that automatically controls the router settings so that no knowledge of routers is required. In addition, these self-networking cameras connect to their own FREE and secure world wide server network so that a static IP address or DDNS service is not required.

What does this all mean? Anyone with minimum or no technical knowledge can set up a self-networking camera without even reading the instructions. The only requirements are a source of electricity for the camera and router and a connection to the internet. No computer or software is required to put the camera online. Commercial network camera installers do not need to be tech savvy IT technicians to install these cameras. When it comes to computers we have all heard the comments, easy to use, no knowledge required, simple set up, plug and pray, and etc. The first adopters of this self-networking camera technology were network CCTV installers who no longer needed the specialized training and certification required from the network camera manufacturers. Self-networking cameras are now available for consumers with no technical knowledge. Plug the camera in the outlet, plug one end of a CAT5 cable into the camera and the other end into a router and the camera is online within seconds instead of hours.

You may be wondering how you can see the camera video. Self-networking cameras can be viewed and controlled in six different ways:

1) Visit a free website set up for the cameras. Type in the camera id and password from a small credit card sized camera ID card and you can observe, control and record from each camera.

2) Install a Windows based software on any PC. The cameras pop up automatically on the screen. Press the record button to record. That’s all there is to it. The application even works on a low-powered netbook.

3) Use a supported smartphone such as an Apple iPhone 3GS. Downloadable applications can allow you to Pan Tilt, or record directly from the camera.

4) By using a N.A.S. (Network Attached Storage) device instead of a personal computer for video storage. A NAS is similar to a computer but does not require a keyboard, mouse and does not have a video output. They are very inexpensive and can store a large amount of video files.

5) Some self-networking cameras have a built-in video storage that could use a 16 GB Micro SD memory chip.

6) Using the NAS device, it is possible to redistribute video to other storage locations at the same time. For the most secure applications, the recorded video can be stored in multiple locations automatically.

The self-networking cameras can be used in many additional applications. The result is an expansion of advanced camera features at no additional charge. These new features include built in microphones, video motion detection, built in SMTP and FTP servers, NAS settings, and camera settings such as brightness and resolution can now be controlled remotely. Other features such as multiple video streams and on-camera recording are also available. Other application specific features such as Day and Night (Near Infrared night vision), wireless and Pan and Tilt functions are also available at low cost. The typical consumer self-networking camera costs much less than its professional counterpart, yet it essentially the same camera with the same high quality. These cameras are small enough to take on vacations and business trips.

Self-networking cameras are available for consumers that have the best security camera technology used by professionals and at a lower price!

Compare to insects and termites, every year 1.5 billion dollar was damaged. Pest control is similar to visiting the medical specialist to take a special treatment your physical health must diagnose the problem and recover the extent of the injury. The medical specialist use this information to give a right treatment. IPM is the Integrated Post Management. It is the solution for recovering problems. With the help of Integrated Post Management, they identified the pest and collected huge information about the infestation. It is very safety, environmental effects and has a cost of all the methods.

Most of the time, pesticide application is the good one for recovering the problems, other situations they follow the non-toxic methods are trapping, sealing and minimizing the moisture. This is more useful than pesticides and then many types of chemical mechanical methods and environmental methods are used to produce the exact solutions.

Without pesticides, we are suffering from many problems for help prevent and pests in and around the house moisture control, exclusion, sanitation, prevention and mechanical control. Moisture control are repair leaky, clean gutters. Evaluate water in outdoor containers. Exclusion is sealing process of making the storage purpose. Sanitation is trash containers should be clean and tight. Food must be sealed and best product. vacuum process should be regularly. Prevention is used for recovery.mechanical control process is used to removing pests. With the help of vacuum, we can easily remove the ladybird beetles ants spider’s pest control service is useful for every process. Pest control service is used to avoid the diseases problems.

Integrated pest management is a crop management to recover the problems while using in the agriculture. There are classified into three ways. Intervention, Prevention, observation. Merits of organic pest control Sydney are more effective. It will build up to the poisons. So you should using best quality of chemicals. Pesticides also destroy beneficial insects. Organic methods are high holistic and few effective. Organic farms suffer a few crop loss then the conventional farms.

Why my shower leaks and what to do. Have you ever had a shower pan that leaks? This can be a nightmare for a homeowner! This can ruin walls and floors and cause mildew and fungus, which can be a health hazard.

Some background information:

Some older homes, built 20 years ago,or more had “composition” shower pans. They were made of kind of a tar paper. When a shower base filled up with water from a leak the cement work under the tile got wet and so did the shower pan, after a while it deteriorated and the pan no longer was a receptor to hold the leaking water. The water just ran out of the bottom and onto your bathroom floor.

Newer bathrooms use a vinyl shower pan material that does not deteriorate. So unless there is a serious hole in the vinyl pan from construction nails or screws the pan does it’s job, which is to retain water from a shower floor leak from flooding your bathroom. So with the new vinyl pans, or if you had a soldered copper pan, you have a great receptor to hold leaking water.

But…Even with a good shower pan you can still have problems! When the cement in the shower pan is completely saturated there is no place for the water to go except, through capillary action, up the wall and down into the bathroom. If you have cementatious sub walls it’s not to bad if fixed in time. The walls will dry out and loose tile or marble , can be replaced.
If you have green board (treated drywall) your walls if not fixed will rot out and
then its time for a major overhaul.

Why do showers leak?

The biggest cause of shower floor that leaks is a bad installation:

1. Which could be the tile or marble not cut tight to the wall.

2. Low areas in the cement work under the tile. Water sits in the depression and does not
flow to the drain. On some materials it can migrate into the pan.

3. Tile not cut tight to the drain itself that can crack and open up an entrance for water.

4. The most common reason is the shower floor was installed after the finish walls were!
In this case when the shower moves from expansion and contraction due to
temperature changes, or the house settling. A crack or separation occurs between the
finished shower wall and finished shower floor. “This is the entrance for water”.
The shower floor should be built the other way around that is the wall material lands
On top of the finished shower floor and forms kind of a water barrier and it is much harder for water to get in. There is a second set of holes in the drain where water is suppose to go if the cement under the floor gets wet, but this, in my experience seldom works.

5. Sometimes it is not the shower floor letting the water in, it is the diverter leaking behind the wall. This is easy to determine.Take off the faucet handles and eschucheon (cover plate) Put the handles back on and turn on the water .Look in the open hole with a flashlight if necessary and see if there is water leaking out of the diverter, once in awhile that’s the problem. If it is you need a new divereter.

More next article : How to keep your shower from leaking and preventive maintenance

A basement waterproofing company is a lot like a dandelion in a spring meadow. If you find one, there’s bound to be a few hundred more out there.

Because leaky basements occur in a pretty substantial number of homes, the number of listings under the heading “basement waterproofing company” in the phone book (or the number of search-engine results on the Internet), is pretty high. If you wanted to, you could just close your eyes and point.

But trust us. You don’t want to do that.

So how do you choose the right basement waterproofing company when there are so many out there? Isn’t it like finding the best honey-roasted peanut in the can?

Not really.

There’s a whole list of criteria you can use to determine whether a basement waterproofing company is the right one to work on your home. You can check out their list of services. You can ask for customer testimonials. You can get a feel for them by talking to one of their representatives. And you can see what they charge, and how they work, by getting a free estimate.

(What? No free estimate? Well, cross that guy off the list.)

So, when you’re choosing a basement waterproofing company, make a checklist for yourself:

A basement waterproofing company shouldn’t subcontract. Subcontractors distance you from the company you hired to do the work. A company that hires subcontractors probably doesn’t have a whole lot invested in interacting with customers – or making sure they’re satisfied.

Research, research, research. Google is your friend here. Look for testimonials on the web, or reviews of the basement waterproofing company in question. Sites like Angie’s List offer comprehensive reviews of all kinds of contractors.

Your grandpa was right. To get the measure of a man, your grandpa used to say, you gotta shake his hand and look in his eye. It’s the same with contractors. See if the company will send a representative over to assess your problem and provide an estimate. This is the time for you to keep your eyes peeled – if you hire this particular contractor, he and his workers will be in your home for several days or weeks. Is that something you want?

Hard sell doesn’t sell. It’s impressive to see someone who’s determined to make a sale, but ultimately the decision is up to you, and a contractor should recognize that. Anyone who says your house will fall down if you don’t hire him right now isn’t to be trusted.

A good basement waterproofing company is hard to come by. But with a little research and a good eye for quality, you’re sure to get your money’s worth.

I have a lot of people ask me, “can a totally frameless shower door leak?” Yes. There are many things that can cause an enclosure leak. What a home owner can do to help with this issue starts way before the glass arrives at the home. I’m talking about the shower stall. A shower stall has a lot to do with the leaking issues that people have when having a frameless enclosure installed. For starters let’s talk about the shower stall dam. A dam is the small little wall that a person steps over when getting into the shower. It is usually about 3″-6″ in height and about 3″-7″ in width. The top of the dam should be slanted to the inside of the shower stall. A good dam pitch should be about 1/8″ to the inside of the shower stall. This will help any water that gets past the door to run back into the shower stall.

We all know that water will run downhill. I come across dams that are pitched to the outside all the time. I inform the homeowner or contractor of the problem so they will have an opportunity to fix it. If they decide not to, I will make the customer sign off on the dam because it will leak and I will not be able to stop it. I do come across dams that are flat a lot and sometimes they leak and sometimes they don’t. I can place a small moon shaped dam on top of the shower stall dam to help. It usually does the job. People ask me to use the metal dam for pitches that are to the outside but; metal dam will not work correctly. The water will pile up and sit on the silicone eventually eating its way through. The best thing that can be done is to fix the dam by having a tile contractor tilt the top tile so that the water will run back into the shower stall. Now I will talk about the next thing that will help with insuring the frameless shower doors will not leak.

The next thing that can make a huge difference is the shower head and its location. Shower heads should never be placed so that is sprays directly at the door. Remember that your shower enclosure is frameless and there is nothing to stop the water from escaping out. Sure plastics can be added but water is an amazing escape artist. If there is a way to get out it will find it. The water pressure can even open a shower door up. The best place for a shower head is spraying across the door not at the door. What is the best shower head for frameless shower doors? Rain shower heads are the best. The water that comes from a rain head flows down without too much pressure. The pressure and direction is the key. Movable shower heads that are on a flexible line can be used but, the person taking the shower must be aware of water leakage.

When remodeling a bathroom remember that water can leak from a shower stall so, keep that in mind when it comes to wall moldings and drywall. I love to see walls that are tiled next to shower stalls. Carpets in bathrooms are not a good idea either. I’m talking about attached carpets not bathroom mats. Mats are great! Frameless shower doors are the nicest thing in a bathroom but, can be a headache if not installed right.

Efflorescence is the white, salt like powdery scum appearing on masonry walls. Efflorescence spoils the coloring and looks of walls and paving. Efflorescence presence indicates that there is salt and moisture on the wall or pavers. As it happens while cleaning pavers, on wet surface sometimes you may not be able to identify presence of efflorescence. This is because wet surface make the salt layer remain transparent and when the surface turns dry the transparency is lost and salt gets exposed.

Conditions

There are three main conditions for occurrence of efflorescence on the wall or pavers. These are presence of water and soluble salts on the surface; presence of sufficient moisture that makes salt into a soluble solution and a path for the solution to ooze out. Once the solution comes out, moisture evaporates leaving salt crystals stuck to the surface. Once you notice the presence of efflorescence on your walls and pavers, act immediately so that it would be easy to remove at that stage.

Cleaning methods

Natural cleaning:-Areas with water-soluble salts may be scrubbed with a dry brush before rinsing with water. This may be done regularly until the efflorescence disappears permanently. If the efflorescence patches are spread over limited areas, wash them using a light detergent. A brush with stiff bristle can be used to scrub the surface. Then use a vacuum cleaner to dry the area. Do not allow the walls to dry naturally as the remaining efflorescence if any, get absorbed into the bricks. Repeat this process for a few days until there is no more efflorescence appears on the surface.

Sandblasting:- Another commonly used method is sandblasting. But the bad side of sandblasting is the sand defaces the surface of bricks and the mortar mixes up with salt deposits, causing deterioration of masonry work. Therefore you should be cautions about sandblasting walls with waterproofing materials. Same should be your approach towards pavers. After cleaning pavers of efflorescence completely, seal them.

Acid treatment:- Old patches of efflorescence can be removed by applying muriatic acid mixed in water in the proportion of 1:10. First of all spray the area with water and then pour the mixture over the surface. Allow the mixture to settle for a minute then scrub the area with a scrub brush and fresh water. Clean the area with a spray of fresh water. Repeat this process once in every week until the efflorescence completely disappears from the pavers. Ensure that you cover the green surrounding pavers, with a plastic sheet so that the muriatic acid solution does not fall on it. Sprinkling baking soda in this manner has also been found useful.

Prevention

Never do a cover up operation by sealing the walls or pavers with efflorescence present on them. Be demanding about quality of building material. Minimize soluble alkali sulfate use, make use of good items so that neither water enters the masonry nor moisture works with the salt allowing the salt-solution to ooze out. Sealing pavers or walls should be done only after ensuring that efflorescence has completely disappeared. These steps will ensure that the pre-conditions required for presence of efflorescence is broken and your pavers and walls remain protected for a long time.

Concrete sealing has become an integral part of every concrete finish in modern times. It is the best curative agent for new concrete and forms a shield and barricade son the existing concrete and protects it from corrosion. Actually the artificial application of sealer blocks the pores and thus diminishes absorption of water, salts and other such materials from passing through it.

Compounds used in concrete sealer

Acrylic resins are the most affordable and easy to apply; they form a thin layer to protect from UV rays and allow visual enhancement. Epoxy or urethane are topical coating and have a greater life span. Most people prefer applying this kind of sealer in factories, restaurants and even garage floors. Silanes, as researches show are the smallest molecular compound of penetrating sealers. Although quite expensive, these are greatly in demand for their high value application in parking garages, slate, blue stone and other precious materials. Siliconates, siloxanes, silicones, silicates are several other components that are often used in combination for preparing penetrating sealers and highly effective curing agents for new concrete construction.

Why is using sealer imperative?

Concrete sealing makes your concrete glossy, superior and highly durable in quality. Concrete sealing actually seals or traps moisture and thus prevents the surface from drying. The main purpose of sealing is to protect the surface. Today most contractors use these sealers to enhance the durability and the appearance of the concrete.

Benefits of durable and effective sealer

One of the greatest benefits derived from concrete sealers is stain deterrence. This is especially beneficial when you have opted for decorative concrete, like pattern stamped pool or patio, interlocking paver driveway. You would certainly not appreciate your expensive concrete being stained, stamped or exposed aggregate. Sealers provide a thin coating and cover the pores preventing from any kind of hideous oil or other substance to penetrate through the concrete. This in turn enhances the durability of your concrete and makes it look better for a longer period of time.

Precaution taken before applying sealer to your concrete

You really need to be very watchful and ardently select the concrete sealer you need to apply. The relatable category and form of sealer should be chosen and all the instructions related should be well taken into consideration before finally applying it on your concrete. You want to get a product worth the price you pay, so it is important that you choose the right sealer for your concrete.

Nothing is permanent. If the surface shows signs of being worn out, you can give it special attention and give it a new look through simple treatment like stain removal, polishing and specialized concentrated effort for cleaning. Concrete sealer can help you preserve your dream masterpiece for a spectacular period of time. These sealers are stain and water repellant and significantly fix wet and damp basements and prevent dusting. Last but not the least, applying sealers can definitely enhance the appearance of your stamped and decorative concrete.
